To be “really” elegant with a hat, it is imperative that it is well suited to your head. Here are our tips for taking the right size.

Take the right steps

To the millimeter

Take a measuring tape. Measure around your head where the hat would rest, ie in the middle of the forehead and at the level of the skull (normally 0.5 to 1 cm above the eyebrows and ears).
Hold the meter as you would like your hat to sit (most measurement errors occur when applying the meter too tightly). Read the nearest size and refer to the diagram below to find your head circumference. After taking this one, choose your model.
If you do not have a tape measure, you can use a piece of rope or tape (non-stretchable).
If your measurement falls in the middle of two sizes, we recommend you choose the larger one. Thus, wearing the hat will be easier.
